Based on the principles of teaching, research, and extension, the University of Ribeirão Preto, through the Office of Research and Graduate Studies (Stricto Sensu), currently has Research Groups registered in the database of the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq), as well as records of patents and copyright assignments.
In addition, Unaerp develops research projects across the fields of Exact Sciences, Biological Sciences, and Humanities. The Directory of Research Groups is a project developed by CNPq since 1992, which contains information about the Research Groups currently active in the country. It serves as an important tool for the exchange and sharing of information within the scientific and technological community.
The database of Unaerp’s Directory of Research Groups is a valuable source of information on the research lines and themes developed by our faculty and student researchers, covering both undergraduate and graduate programs at our institution.
The results of Unaerp institutional scientific policy are the patent registrations and copyright assignments. Click here and check our patent registrations
As a general objective, the International Symposium on Integrated Sciences at UNAERP Campus Guarujá – SICI – offers the opportunity to exchange scientific experiences among business professionals; public and private institutions; universities (teachers and students); non-governmental organizations and community members to debate relevant issues.
The macro objective of UNAERP Campus Guarujá is to continue to maintain the event as an icon of national and international interest, contributing to scientific progress and the state of the art.
The specific objective is to produce forms of integrated action that will contribute to the dynamization of the local and regional economy and of Brazil, that are capable of providing the real social promotion of the individual and the quality of life.
The insertion of the student as a presenter of a scientific article is the main differential idealized by UNAERP Campus Guarujá for this relevant event, allowing the exercise of its praxis, through the presentation of Article, Monograph, Course Conclusion Paper and / or Research Project.
Access to the XVII International Symposium on Integrated Sciences is full for students, teachers, researchers and other users. In its sections it is possible to present specific articles and also on any other topic.
Scientific production is responsible for the advances of humanity in all its aspects. From economics to health, from communication to the environment, from politics to sport, from art to transport, including all the steps of technological evolution, science creates the best and most favorable conditions for life with quality, resolution and development. Generating new knowledge is the goal of researchers and institutions that invest years of study and countless resources to discover new drugs, innovative administrative and production processes, restorative therapies, agile and productive equipment, sustainable energy, new forms of water treatment, among thousands of results with a direct impact on the different fields of human activity.
Presenting the results of this scientific production, exchanging information and democratizing access is the next step so that the knowledge generated reaches the participants of the scientific community and the population, promoting direct and indirect benefits.
Scientific congresses are one of the most fruitful spaces for this exchange and dissemination of information that begins in scientific initiation. As its name already announces, initiation is a learning process in the world of science and the construction of scientific knowledge through social investigations designed by undergraduates, accompanied and guided by a researcher-experience advisor.
In this learning process, the question of the professional training process is always in focus, which values scientific research as a fundamental element for thinking and planning one’s professional action, and as a basic commitment to awakening vocations for the science field. From this point on, it is important to highlight the role of scientific activities that aim to involve not only professionals in the field, but also students with positive values, stimulating learning and inner growth for noble goals.
From initiation, scientific research gains maturity and depth until it reaches the stage of senior researchers, with their magnificent results that shed light, information and knowledge on the different segments and aspects of human life.
Thus, CONIC UNAERP, with annual editions since 1999 when it was created, is a congress open to beginners in scientific production, as well as researchers at graduate level, providing adequate space for sharing projects under development and results of those already completed. With the aim of contributing to the training and encouragement of researchers, undergraduates, graduates, masters and doctors, CONIC Unaerp brings together a significant range of universities, covering several areas of knowledge.
Present and discuss the results of research and development of technological innovation projects, aiming at greater integration and scientific identification with the Unaerp Institution and other teaching and research institutions in the country.
Professors, students and researchers from Unaerp, campus Ribeirão Preto and campus Guarujá, as well as students and researchers from other teaching and research institutions in Brazil and worldwide.
The 24th CONIC will be held online with presentations and evaluations of papers by digital means. With the theme “The emergence of the climate issue and the challenges for sustainable development”, the Congress takes place on November 8, 2023, from 9:00 am (UTC-3:00), and will be entirely virtual, from the registration of the papers to the presentations and evaluations for awards.
The two modalities of presentation (panel and oral) remain, but with adjustments to the new format mediated by technology. The exhibitions will be made through templates made by Unaerp and available to prepare the presentation in PowerPoint. The template can be accessed on the link: ATTENTION! Download here the template to be used in the paper presentation.
Both presentations modalities (panel or oral) will be held in meeting rooms, using the Google Meet platform, with the camera and audio being required to remain connected during the presentation.
For the abstracts approval of digital panels and selection for oral presentation will be considered the relevance of the research and the results presented involving the theme of the work. The Scientific Committee’s decision is sovereign, with no appeals. The criteria adopted and the evaluations made reflect the considerations of the Scientific Committee of CONIC UNAERP and cannot be compared with any evaluation of the same work made by other judges, regardless of the level, national or international, of other congresses in the same area or related areas, or from scientific and non-scientific publications. Thus, the authors are aware that no type of appeal regarding the process of judging any paper submitted to the scientific committee of the congress will be possible.
Registration can be made until September 15th, 2023.
Registration is mandatory for both modalities, through the electronic form available at:
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScP31DLNbNgpcCEJVs4Iy03XHLgi4T5Gsomd7Pai1Ub6IOkoA/viewform
The abstract requested in one of the paper registration phases must have a minimum of 1,000 and a maximum of 2,200 characters. The content should only contain text, covering an introduction, methodology and main results and conclusions. Features such as graphics, tables, drawings, bold and/or italic characters will not be allowed at this time. But, in the slides that will be used in the production of the presentation template, the use is free.
The title of the paper must have a maximum of 255 characters.
Upon registration, sending the abstract or expanded paper presupposes the approval of all authors and, therefore, there will be no changes and/or corrections after the registration is closed.
The expanded Abstract must be attached at the time of registration, in Microsoft Word or PDF format, containing between 5,000 (five thousand) and 10,000 (ten thousand) characters. Structured in accordance with ABNT standards:
Work plans will not be accepted.
The pages of the file must be configured for A4 sheet, portrait orientation, font Times New Roman size 12, 1.5 spacing (one and a half) and bibliography in accordance with ABNT standards.
Papers registered for oral presentation that are not accepted may, at the discretion of the scientific committee, be selected for presentation in panel format, in accordance with current regulations.
Papers involving human beings must be approved by the Research Ethics Committee for Human Beings (CAAE).
If the research involves the use of animals, the approval made by the Ethics Committee for Experimentation with Animals (CEUA) must be informed.
In this 2023 edition of CONIC UNAERP, the panels will be replaced by a template provided by Unaerp, containing seven slides. In the first, the authors, supervisors, funding agencies (when applicable), and the institution to which the author(s) belong should be identified. The other slides are for the paper title, introduction, methodology, results, conclusions and bibliographical references used in the abstract. On the slides, resources such as graphics, tables, drawings, bold and/or italic characters can be inserted. This template must be prepared by the authors and used when presenting the paper.
Presentations will be through Google Meet platform in the morning and evening and will have a maximum duration of 5 minutes.
If the work is approved, the author will receive an email containing the presentation time and the link to the virtual room for the presentation on November 17th.
