Software Engineering receives maximum evaluation, Concept 5, from MEC

Coordinated by professor Edilson Carlos Caritá, the Software Engineering course was evaluated with Concept 5, maximum grade, awarded by the MEC in the course Recognition process. The Expert Committee of the Ministry of Education conducted the virtual on-site assessment on May 20th to 22nd.
With a high-level teaching staff, a pedagogical project in tune with contemporary technologies and professional demands and supported by complete and adequate infrastructure, the course welcomes students from the city and region in search of solid training with high employability. The focus of this degree is on information technology as a tool for developing software, web systems, applications and games and also for carrying out tests and quality control in software production.
According to the text that summarizes the result of the evaluation, “after careful analysis of the indicators and evidence collected during meetings and ‘remote’ visits to the IES facilities, the Commission assigned concepts to the dimensions present in this form, in accordance with the Guidelines National Curricula and current legislation. Final Concept 5″.

Another aspect to highlight in the Commission’s final comment refers to the presentation of supporting documentation regarding all dimensions assessed in the course and at the University. “All the documentation necessary to verify the dimensions was made available by the Institution in a virtual folder on Google Drive and the Commission’s doubts were promptly clarified by the available team. It is worth noting that the IES presented an exemplary organization in all documentation made available to the Commission. Furthermore, it was possible to observe, through the different meetings held, that all the processes presented are properly executed within the scope of the Software Engineering course”.
This evaluation recognizes the level of excellence of the pedagogical project and teaching staff of this bachelor’s degree, endorses the investment that Unaerp makes in infrastructure and support for the development of teaching, extension and research activities, in addition to consolidating the concept of quality that the course has among its students, within the academic community and in the job market.
