Unaerp celebrates 22 years in Guarujá

Education is an important tool for social transformation and inclusion and, through Higher Education, it is possible to change realities through knowledge, encouraging science and innovation, and extending it to the community. Tradition, quality of education and excellence in academic training are hallmarks of Unaerp, an almost century-old institution that today celebrates 22 years in Guarujá.

Unaerp demonstrates its excellence in teaching in the evaluations of the Ministry of Education (MEC), being among the best institutions in the country. This is the result of dedication and serious work by teachers, employees and students, enhancing the teaching-learning process.

Looking to the future, Unaerp Guarujá is inspired by new projects, new technology and distance learning courses being offered, with the consolidation of the Medicine course and advances in the academic structure, Unaerp Guarujá follows the mission of acting with excellence, in the pillars of Teaching, Research and Extension programs.

And based on its solid experience in Higher Education, Unaerp has been facing the great challenges brought by the pandemic with determination and involvement of all. The University has reinvented itself and, with a lot of dedication and investments, allows students to follow the journey of knowledge and academic training, as stated by the Dean of Unaerp Guarujá, Professor Priscilla Bonini Ribeiro.

“Significant investments were made in technology for our classes to follow the synchronous system, while maintaining the synergy and contact between student and teacher that are so necessary for the teaching-learning process. With a very broad structure and with the necessary protocols, we resumed the in person classes, when authorized, focusing on measures to ensure the presence of students, professors and employees”, says Priscilla.

And the social area is one of the highlights of these 22 years of campus Guarujá. The University makes every effort to maintain its commitment to social responsibility. “Our clinics and legal assistance projects provide the community with access to assistance services while our students experience contact with the profession reality. And we have advanced even more in activities that can contribute to the evolution and progress of our city”.

With scientific advances in mind and the training of professionals aware of their role in society, Unaerp maintains initiatives to encourage research, development of new practices and is constantly updating its knowledge through scientific events and projects focused on Science. “We are mirrored in the tradition and we are motivated to seek new solutions and answers to the challenges of Education, and for the evolution of knowledge”, emphasizes the educator.

Installed in an area of 30,000 square meters, in the Enseada neighborhood, in partnership with Fernando Eduardo Lee Foundation, the campus has an environment conducive to academic and professional development, with well-equipped laboratories, learning spaces, sports facilities, a library and large outdoor living area. It offers undergraduate, graduate and extension programs, maintains agreements with institutions and develops initiatives to foster research and innovation.
