UNAERP PARTICIPATES IN A PREPARATORY MEETING FOR FAUBAI

Unaerp attended the preparatory meeting for the 32nd Annual Conference of the Brazilian Association for International Education (Faubai), which took place from August 26 to 28, in Belo Horizonte, MG. The University was represented by Professor Vanessa França Bonini Panico, director of the National and International Interinstitutional Cooperation Division – DCINI.

The event, which took place at the headquarters of PUC Minas, brought together members of the national board and the deliberative council of the entity and representatives of Faubai’s regional and segments, with the purpose of discussing important topics for the Association and the preparation for the 32nd Conference, one of the largest on international education in Latin America, which will be held from April 25 to 29, 2020, in Belo Horizonte and foresees 800 participants from Brazilian and foreign universities.

“Participating in Faubai is one of the main steps for a Brazilian university that seeks internationalization as an important pillar in the formation of its students and the technical and scientific development of professors and collaborators”, commented Unaerp’s representative at the event, Professor Vanessa França Bonini Panico, who since 2014 has also participated in the Faubai Board and the Conference Organizational Committee.

FAUBAI
FAUBAI, or the Brazilian Association for International Education, founded in 1988, brings together more than 180 managers and other responsible parties for international affairs and promotes the integration and training of area managers through seminars, workshops and regional and national meetings. In addition, FAUBAI also discloses the diversity and potential of Brazilian HEI´s together with funding agencies, diplomatic missions, and international programs and organizations.
